Lifelong Falls City, Texas, resident Adolfo Aguirre passed away Friday, May 18, 2007, in the Southeast Baptist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.

He was born Oct. 20, 1945, in Falls City.

A house painter who had also been employed with Chevron as a heavy equipment operator, Adolfo was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Falls City.

Preceding him in death were his father, Macario Aguirre, and a sister, Rufilda Martinez.

Adolfo is survived by his mother, Dominga Cizneros Aguirre of Falls City; two sisters, Genera Flores of Salem, Ore., and Refugia Sanchez of Falls City; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation began at 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 20, in Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Falls City, followed by recitation of the rosary at 7 p.m. in the church.

A funeral Mass was celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in the church, with the Rev. Gregory Sawicki as celebrant.

Burial followed in the Falls City Cemetery.
