Found Dead In Her Bed.
Mrs. Dr. Bittle, of Salem, Va., wife of the late Dr. Bittle, president of Roanoke College, was found dead in her bed Friday morning. When she retired on Thursday night she was in her usual health, and it is supposed that she died of heart disease. Her husband died of that disease some years ago while in his chair at the college. Deceased was a native of Middletown, Frederick county, and was well known in this vicinity.
