CLAREMONT -- Marian Louise Hanson, 83, of 67 Maple Ave., went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday morning, Sept. 9, 2008. She was the daughter of Harold and Bertha (Read) King.

Marian is survived by her husband of 60 years, Robert Hanson of Claremont; two sons, David Hanson of Claremont and James Hanson of Alligator, Miss.; and a brother, Harold King of Hollis, N.H. She is also the proud grandmother of seven grandchildren, four great-granddaughters and five great-grandsons.

Marian was predeceased by her oldest son, Robert Jr. in 2001.
