Virgil B Grant, 81, of 2338 Erie St, died yesterday in his home.
He was born in Asheville, NC and came to Toledo 37 years ago. Mr Grant was a repairman for the New York Central System 23 years retiring in 1933.
He was a member of the Second Baptist Church, Lenoir City, Tenn. and the Brotherhood of Railroad Carmen of America.
Surviving are sons: Clarence and Blaine of Toledo
daughters, Mrs Mamie McMurdo of Toledo; Mrs Reba Holder of Holland,Ohio, Mrs Nina Atwood, Crossville, Tn
