Adelaide S BIRDSALL b. April 30, 1812 NY d. Nov. 9, 1868 daughter of Judge James BIRDSALL of Norwich, NY In 1835 she married William M. FENTON in July they settled in Pontiac Michigan In 1837 he removed to Genesee County and engaged in mercantile milling and in real estate transactions in the village of Fenton which bears their name.

Had at least 4 children:
1)Adelaid (Ada) FENTON b. 6-5-1838 d. 2-25-1884 m. Col George McCREERY of Flint both buried this cemetery.
2)Henry FENTON b. abt 1840
3)Joseph Brush FENTON b. abt 1843
4)Miss FENTON
