Paul A. Behun Jr. was born on Tuesday; April 18, 1944 in Baltimore; Baltimore County, Maryland. He was the son of: Paul Behun Sr. and Eliza Rebecca Condon. He was educated in the area of his birth. He entered the US Army and served 4 tours in Vietnam(7-1/2 years). In 1968, he married Lora Holdsworth in Newton; Jasper County, Iowa. To this union, four children were born. They later divorced. On Saturday; November 27, 1993, Paul married Laura Sargent in Marshalltown; Marshall County, Iowa. Paul adopted Laura's daughter: Amanda. Laura passed away in June, 2006. Paul traveled while in the military, living most of his life in Marshalltown, Iowa until recently when he moved to Newton, Iowa. He worked at Kiowa in the shipping department until retirement. After retirement, he prepared pizza at Pizza Hut. He enjoyed fishing, especially for trout, camping, hunting, Shelties and Shih Tzus, and he was a big Buffalo Bills fan. Paul A. Behun Jr. , age 64, passed away on Tuesday; September 16, 2008, at Heritage Manor in Newton, Iowa. Those left to mourn his passing are: His five children: Michael (Cindy) Behun of Newton, Iowa. Lori (Dave) Fisher of Nashua; Chickasaw County, Iowa. Robert Behun (Deborah Wilson) of Centuria; Polk County, Wisconsin. Jeremy (Jami) Behun of Monroe; Jasper County, Iowa and Amanda Behun of Marshalltown, Iowa. his four grandsons and his two granddaughters. his siblings: Carolyn (Gary) Bennett, Phyllis Larsen, and James (Sarah) Vanderpool, all of New York and his mother-in-law: Mildred Holdsworth of Newton, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents, and his wife: Laura. May they rest in peace. Visitation will be from: 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday; September 19, 2008 at the funeral home. Funeral services will begin at: 1:30 p.m. on Saturday; September 20, 2008 also at the funeral home. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
