DIED - H. H. Hyde, Wed., Jan. 4, aged 58 years, 2 months and 3 days. Deceased was born in Thompson, Ohio and came to Illinois in infancy and had lived here ever since except 12 years residence in Iowa. He was married to Vina S. Harger Sept. 1, 1860 and to the Union 9 children were born, eight now living. The deceased was a farmer most of his life. During his residence in Earlville his health has been poor, but the afflictions of ill health were born with patience at all times. He leaves besides the sons and daughters, a wife. The children are Mrs. H. M. Prentice, of DeKalb, Robt. A. and Wm Hyde of Sterling; C L, J L, Lee, Miss Inza and Philo. The funeral was held in the Methodist church today Rev Holt officiating. The burial was in Precinct cemetery.
