DIED, Mrs. H. H. Hyde at her home in DeKalb Wednesday morning at 1 0'clock.

Miss Lavina Sybil Harger was born in Rome, N. Y., October 11, 1845. She came to Illinois about 1854 with her parents. September 1, 1860, at Ottawa she was married to Henry H. Hyde, and since then she spent ten years in Iowa and two years in Nebraska.

Ten children were born to them - eight boys and two girls. Two of the boys died some years ago. Those surviving are Mrs. H. M. Prentice, of Dekalb, R. A. Hyde, Galt, Ill; W. W. Hyde, Shenandoah, Ia; C. L. and J. L. Hyde, Earlville; H. L. and Philo Hyde, of DeKalb, and Mrs. George Davison, of Maywood.

The husband died about five years ago.

Mrs. Hyde leaves a brother in Denver and two sisters in Kansas. She has been in poor health all winter, and her final illness was about four days duration.

The funeral was held at the M. E. church in Earlville, at 2:30 today by Rev. W. J. Abel.
