Grew up in Kenville, Manitoba and went to school in Kenville and Swan River, Manitoba.
After finishing school he joined the Air Force, serving in the Embassy in Czechoslovakia.
Upon discharge he moved to British Columbia, Canada.
Owned Boomer Billards in New Westminster, British Columbia and then Cloverdale Sporting Goods prior to going into Real Estate sales, Land Development and Construction.
Survived by a son and a daughter, a granddaughter and three grandsons.
