She was the daughter of Thomas Williamson. She married John Williams Williamson on the 03 July 1863 in Caswell County, NC

Mrs. Virginia F. Williamson passed away yesterday afternoon at the home of her son-in-law, Mr. J. O. Magruder on Sutherlin Avenue, after a long illness. She has made her home with Mr. Magruder for the past six months and for several weeks had been confined to her bed.
She was about 77 years of age and was a native of Caswell County, N.C. She resided at Reidsville, N.C. prior to her making her home in this city.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church at Reidsville, N.C. having joined when a child.
She was the widow of the late John W. Williamson and is survived by four children as follows: Mrs. J. O Magruder of Danville; Miss Minnie Williamson of Reidsville, N.C.; Mr. J. W. Williamson of Worthville, N.C. and Mr. L. B. Williamson of Burlington, N.C.
She also leaves two brothers, Captain James M. Williamson of Graham, N.C. and Mr. P. F. Williamson of Leaksville, N.C.
The remains will be taken this (Sunday) morning to Reidsville for burial. The funeral services will be conducted this afternoon.
