Harry F. Balt of 929 Twenty-ninth street, died at the Mercy Hospital at 5.20 o'clock yesterday afternoon, death following an operation.

He was born in Duncansville on Sept. 20, 1871, the son of Henry and Martha Balt, both deceased. He was reared at Hollidaysburg, attending the public schools there, and later learned the trade of machinist with the McLanahan Stone company of Gaysport. Some years ago he came to the city and took a position as machinist in the local shops.

Mr. Balt was married in 1903 to Miss Ada Reilly, who survives, with the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Celia Keckler of Duncansville, Mrs. Amanda Shannon, Mrs. Miriam Wymer, Charles and Lloyd Balt, all of this city.

Deceased was a member of the Simpson Methodist church and the P.R.R. Relief association. The body may be viewed any time before the funeral, which will be held with services at 2.30 o'clock Sunday afternoon, to be public. Interment will be private and will be made in Carson Valley Cemetery.
