511 Fourteenth street. Duncansville.
Mr. Beach was employed in the Juniata erecting shop. He had no work today but arose to prepare to come to this city to receive his pay check and as he crossed the hall to the bathroom he suffered a heart attack and fell to the floor and expired immediately.
He was born at Duncansville, the son of Bartholomew and Catherine (Langham) Beach. He was united in marriage with Miss Sarah Gates in Duncansville, the ceremony being performed by Rev. J. W. Henderson, then pastor of the Lutheran church.
Surviving are the wife and three children, Mrs. Hattie Blanchard and Edward Beach, both of Philadelphia, and Mrs. Mary Zimmerman of Pittsburgh; two grandchildren and two sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Charles Divins of McKeesport, Mrs. Celia Dunn and Max Beach of Altoona and Orrie Beach of Terre Haute, Ind.
Mr. Beach resided in Duncansville all his life and prior to the removal of the iron mills from that town was employed in the rolling mill. When the mill closed down he took employment in the Pennsy shops, where he had been employed since.
He was a member of the Lutheran church practically all his life and for years was the Sunday school librarian. He was also affiliated with the P. O. S. of A.
Funeral services will be conducted in the Duncansville Lutheran church Sunday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock, in charge of his pastor, Rev. G. B. Harman, and interment will be
made in the Carson Valley cemetery. The body may be viewed by friends at the home.
