Nancy Jane Harper was born Aug. 24, 1837 and died Sept. 7, 1902, age 65 years and 13 days.
She was married to Wm. Brunnemer 1858. To them were born four children, two having preceded her to the better land. After the death of Mr. Brunnemer in 1891, she was again united in marriage to Abram Good. He preceded her in May 1900. She joined the M. E. Church when young, and has lived a quiet and devoted Christian life. Through her last illness of several months she bore her suffering with patience and Christian fortitude. She expressed her willingness and readiness to obey the summons by saying that she wanted “to go home to be at rest.”
As fades the morning star,
When brighter light is risen,
No she was lost afar
Midst brighter light in Heaven.

BANTA – Aunt Nancy Good died Sunday night and was buried Monday evening. Rev. Sidebottom conducted the funeral.

Death of Mrs. Abram Good. At the home of her son, Fulton Brunnemer, at Banta occurred the death of Mrs. Abram Good Sunday night from cancer. Mrs. Good has made her home with her son since the death of her husband on April 25, 1901. She was the third wife of Mr. Good.
The remains were buried in the Shiloh cemetery on Monday afternoon at 3 o’clock.

Nancy J. Harper was born August 24, 1837, died September 7, 1902, aged sixty-five years, one month and seventeen days. She was married to William Brunnemer in 1858; to this union four children were born, two of whom Robert F. Brunnemer and Martha Simpson are still living. After the death of Mr. Brunnemer she was married to Abram Good who died in May 1900. She united with the M.E. church in early life and ever afterward lived a faithful Christian life. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon conducted by Rev. Sidebottom.

NOTE – Nancy’s death certificate shows she was a GOOD at the time of her death. Widow of Abraham Good.
