Miss Susan Lawrence died very suddenly last night at her home. She lived with her sister and together they retired about 9 o'clock. They had been asleep for some time when the deceased's sister, hearing a strange sound made by her sister, arose and lighted a lamp, but before she had reached her sister's side, she had breathed her last.
Miss Lawrence had not been complaining of feeling unwell except that when she went to bed she had a slight toothache. Death is supposed to have been due to heart failure.
Miss Lawrence had resided in this city for many years and was 52 years old. She is survived by two sisters, Miss Rose Lawrence, with whom she lived, and Mrs. Dick of Eastman avenue.
