MR. M C. POULK PASSES
PEACEFULLY AWAY.
One of the saddest deaths to occur in this city for a long time, was that of Mr. M. C. Poulk, Thursday morning at 9:55 a.m. after an illness of three weeks with Typhoid fever. He was about 53 years of age, and for the pass several years had been in the mercantile business in this city and one of our most prominent citizens. The remains will be interned in the Poulk cemetery this afternoon. The Messenger Joins the people of the town and county in extending sympathy to the bereaved family.
