Wife of Ralph C. Zeigler.∼YORK Romaine I. (Hoffman) Zeigler, 88, died Sunday, June 10, 2007, at Manor Care Kingston Court. She was the wife of Ralph Zeig ler, who died in 1996. She was born on July 23, 1918, in York, a daughter of the late Harry J. and Erma L. (Elicker) Hoffman. Romaine was a member of St. Paul's 'Red Run' U.C.C., East Berlin and the East Berlin V.F.W. She is survived by two sisters, Sylvia R. Miller of East Berlin and Betty M. Rentzel of Gardners; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Gary C. Zeigler. Funeral service will be 6 p.m. Thursday from the Feiser Funeral Home, Inc., 306 Harrisburg St., East Berlin, with Elder, Harry B. Nell officiating. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 p.m. until the time of the service.
