Mrs. Anna C. Moore, 66, of Springfield, died at 2:27 p.m. Friday at St.
John's Hospital.
Born on Feb. 12, 1922, in Springfield, Mrs. Moore was the daughter of Thomas J. and Margaret Sullivan Carberry. She married Stephen F. Moore in 1946 and he died in 1979. She also was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Josephine Moore. A lifelong resident of Springfield, Mrs. Moore was an operator supervisor for Illinois Bell Telephone Co. from 1941 to 1947. Mrs. Moore was a member of St. Patrick's Church.
Surviving are seven daughters, Anna Marie Moore of Oak Park, Mrs. Patricia "Pat" Blinn and Marguerite D. Moore, both of Springfield, Theresa A. Moore and Mary C. Moore, both of Cincinnati, Ohio, Jeanette L. Moore of Chicago and Carolyn S. Moore of Edwardsville; seven sons, Daniel T., Peter M., Mark J. Moore, all of Springfield, Frank A. "Tony" Moore of Tempe, Ariz., Jerome P. Moore of Lincoln and Samuel J. and Benjiman J. Moore, both of Champaign; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Mary M. Gengler of Whittemore, Iowa, and Mrs. Veronica Brandon of Chatham; one brother, John P. Carberry of Stonington; several aunts and uncles; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Mass will be at 1 p.m. Monday at St. Patrick's Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
