Charley Albert Crouch, 78, of Hector died Monday, Sept. 6, at Stella Manor Nursing Home.
He was the son of the late Thomas and Nancy Moore Crouch. He was a retired farmer and carpenter, and was a deacon of Welcome Home Free Will Baptist Church at Hector.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nancy Clinkenbeard Crouch; a son, the Rev. Hollie Crouch of Tulsa, OK; four daughters, Mrs. Joe Cook and Mrs. Verlin Taylor of Hector, Mrs. Thurman Cossey and Mrs. James Coffman of Russellville; three brothers, the Rev. W.A. Crouch of Hector, Allen Crouch of Henryetta, OK, and Wiley Crouch of Dardanelle; a sister, Mrs. George Byrum of El Paso, TX; 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Welcome Home Free Will Baptist Church by the Rev. Robert Ashmore and the Rev. W.S. Isbell. Burial was in Walnut Grove Cemetery near Hector by Shinn and Son Funeral Service.
Pallbearers:
Active - Kenneth Cook, Mack Cook, Don Cook, Rick Cossey, Bill Gray and John Byrum.
Honorary - Horace Condley, Boley Churchill, Rev. R.G. Webb, Rev. Lowell Tanner, Roy Williams, Jack White, Odus Hays, Rev. Willie Coffman and Eli Church.
