Billie June Howze, 83, took the hand of Jesus and went home Friday, Oct. 19, 2007.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Tuesday in Winscott Road Memorial Chapel. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook.
Billie was born Aug. 20, 1924, in Blanchard, Okla., to Earl Carpenter and Florence White Carpenter. She had been a resident of Fort Worth for 16 years and was a member of Lakeside Church of God.
Billie was preceded in death by her twin daughters, Patricia Jeanette Winans and Peggy Joan Chears.
Survivors: Daughter, Lyn Roberts and husband, Ron; three brothers and one sister and their spouses, all of Tulsa, Okla.; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many good friends.
