David F. Carrier, sr., died at his home, 11 Irene street, Johnstown, yesterday morning at 8.30 o'clock. Mr. Carrier, an employee of the Cambria plant at Bethlehem Steel company and its predecessors for thirty-five years, and a roller at the 40-inch mill, Franklin, had been ill and worked last on Dec. 13. He had since been under a physician's care at his home, but his condition was not considered critical.

Mr. Carrier was born March 24, 1884, in Blair county, a son of Charles and Mary (Wogan) 'Carrier.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Pearl (Waite)Carrier, and these children: Mrs. Mary Rebecca Frick of Dale, John Ellsworth Carrier of Berkley Hill, Mrs. Kathleen Laughner of Johnstown R. D. 4, David Francis Carrier, jr.. Raymond Delroy Carrier and Walter Leroy Carrier, at home. He was a brother of Mrs. Martin Dietz of Johnstown, Mrs. Carrie Miller of New York city and John Carrier of Cleveland, O.
