Mrs. Mary M. Closson, widow of David Closson, died yesterday at 7:10 a.m. , at the home of her sister, Mrs. Clara Myers, Kittanning Point road. Mrs. Closson was a daughter of William and Frances Plowman and was born November 7, 1845, at Frankstown. She was a member of Carson Valley Church of the Brethren.

Surviving are four sons and four daughters: Philip, Marshal and Albert Closson, Mrs. Susan Mulhern, Mrs. Emma Wilt and Mrs. Alice Taylor, Gallitzin: John Closson, Altoona; Mrs. Rachel Gailey, Summit; two brothers and four sisters: Mrs. Amanda Brubaker and Mrs. J. H. Stoner, Altoona; Mrs. Catherine Brubaker and John Plowman, Carson Valley; David Plowman, Pittsburg; Mrs. Clara Myers, at whose home she died.

Funeral service will be held at 2:30 plm. Friday, in the Carson Valley Church of the Brethren, followed by interment in Carson Valley cemetery.
