Byron Kent was my paternal grandfather. He was married to my grandmother, Vera (nee Abraham) until my father was about 10. They had 2 sons, Charles Lawrence ("Larry") and Alan Craig ("Craig"). My grandfather then married a lady named Ann and they had a son, Michael. I know very little about my grandfather except he liked to play pool and cards. Interesting also is that no one seems to know the name of his father, My great grandmother's name was Rosa (they called her "Rose")(nee Pumroy") Kent. She is also buried in the Shaul cemetery with her brothers, the Pumroys. Grandpa Byron is buried in the American Legion plot of the cemetery. His grave is marked with the American Legion marker instead of a traditional headstone.
