GOODWIN, S.D. -- Funeral services for Janet Bucher Nevills, 69, of Goodwin, S.D., will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 26, in Crawford Funeral Chapel, Watertown, S.D. The Rev. Minoru Tsukamoto will officiate. Janet passed away on April 22, 2007, at a hospital in Watertown, S.D. Burial will be in Black Hills National Cemetery, Sturgis, S.D.Visitation will be in Crawford Funeral Chapel, Watertown, S.D., prior to the service.Memorials may be directed to the Humane Society.Janet was born on Feb. 17, 1938, in Wooster, to James and Verna (Mathie) Bucher.She attended and graduated from Wooster High School in 6. After graduation she attended Pima Community College in Tucson, Ariz., for two years.Janet married Robert Nevills on Aug. 5, 1961 in Wooster. The couple lived in Boston, Mass., Tucson, Ariz., and moved to South Dakota in 7. They most recently made their home in Bemis, S.D.Janet was a homemaker her entire life.Janet was a member of the Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading, needlework, and crocheting.Janet is survived by her husband, Robert; one son, Jeffery K.
