DAN JAMES DIES

Dan James, colored, father of Tony James, exalted ruler of the Pensacola colored Elks, died yester day at 4:45 p. m. at his home, 1606 North Alcaniz.

He was an employe of Gulf Power company for 43 years. Funeral services will be held at 10 a. m. from the residence and at Allen's chapel.

James was 61.

3 September 1922 Pensacola, Escambia Co., FL. Frank Keneth James (14 September 1899) son of Danl. James (of Bellville, AL) & Lillie James (of Pensacola, FL) died from pulmonary phthisis, signifies ulceration of the pulmonary tissue. Burial in Magnolia Cemetery, Pensacola. No memorial found.
