Guileth Irene Ledington, 96, of the Christian Health Center in Corbin, Kentucky, died Saturday, January 25, 2003, at the Christian Health Center.
Born September 28, 1906, in Laurel County, Kentucky, she was a homemaker and member of the Fariston Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret Beets and George W. Beets;
her husband, William Ledington; and four sons, Eddie D. Ledington, Ennis Carlton Ledington, James Alva Ledington, and William Franklin Ledington.
Survivors include four daughters, Nina Baker, Joyce Bishop and Dyla Marie Hale, all of London, Kentucky, and Joline Slominsky of Lexington, Kentucky; a son, Robert Ledington of East Bernstadt, Kentucky; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, January 27, at the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Denvis Rush officiating.
Burial followed in the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery at East Bernstadt, Kentucky.
