Etta M Asmus, 68, of 730 N Sixth Ave died Tuesday, Oct 17, 1989 at her home.
Services will be Friday at the First Presbyterian Church with the Rev Ronald Holmes officiating. burial will be in Parkview Cemetery.
Mrs Asmus was born in Blue Hill May 25, 1921. She attended schools in Hastings where she lived for 60 years. She married Dale Asmus Sept 17, 1939, at Clay Center.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Presbyterian Women and Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
Survivors are her husband; one son, Dennis of Hastings; one daughter, Marcia Kennedy of Naperville, Ill., two sisters, Edna Preston of Mesa, Ariz., and Esther Peterson of San Jose, Calif.; and five grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the Frist Presbyterian Church or Mary Lanning Hospice Program.
Butler-Volland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
