Lois Eleanor Ivey Willingham, 93, of Wichita Falls, died Tuesday in Hospice of Wichita Falls, following a brief illness.

Mrs. Willingham was born July 3, 1915 to George & May Ivey in Plantersville, Alabama. She graduated from Cashion High School in 1933, at Thornberry, Texas.

She and A.D. Willingham were married January 25, 1934 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He preceded her in death March 25, 1962. Mr. Willingham was a well known automobile dealer and in the oil business in Wichita Falls.

Mrs. Willingham was the owner of The Fashion Shop, ladies ready to wear store and a seventy plus year member of Floral Heights United Methodist Church. She served on the Administrative Board, Latch Key, Food Pantry, I.C.U., V.M.U., President and longtime member of the Friendship Sunday School Class and past member of numerous other committees. She was also the past President of the Wichita General Hospital Auxiliary, past President and member of the Southside Girls Club and also served many years as a Junior Forum Sponsor and member.

Survivors include two daughters, Alane Leach and husband Gene of Wichita Falls and Joyce Graves Sharp of Little Rock, Arkansas. Grandchildren include Connie Presley and husband Ken of Richardson, Texas; Kelly Cardwell and husband Mike of Fort Smith, Arkansas; Traci Joyner and husband Cliff of Overland Park, Kansas and Reverend Steve Leach and wife Lori of Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Great-grandchildren include Drew and Mallary Presley, Kristen, Janie and Maggie Cardwell, Jim Joyner and Mollie and Matt Leach. Mrs. Willingham is also survived by one brother, Lee Roy Ivey and wife Lura of Livermore, California and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Willingham is preceded in death by one brother, Clifton Ivey of California and two sisters, Rebecca Hansard of Wichita Falls and Bessie Huckaby of California.

A celebration of her life will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 26th at Floral Heights United Methodist Church with the Rev. Merwin Turner officiating and Rev. Kenny Dickson assisting. Internment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park, under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

Family visitation will be Thursday, September 25 from 7:00-8:00 PM at Lunn's Funeral Home.

The family requests memorials to be sent to Hospice of Wichita Falls or to Floral Heights United Methodist Church Food Pantry.
