Joseph "Jodie" Pleasant Bryant married 1st in Marion County, Mississippi to Dellia Grice (dau. of Jim Grice) and had seven children. After his first wife died in 1917 he afterwards married Estelle Holmes and had two children:
1. Mildred Bryant who married in New Orleans &
2. a stillborn child.
After the death of his second wife he remarried a third time to one whose name is forgotten.
