JUNIATA WOMAN DIED IN HOSPITAL

Mrs. Mrgaret Crawford of 520 8th Ave. Juniata, formerly of Duncansville, died at 4.25 a.m. yesterday at the Altoona Hospital where whe was admitted June 12.

She was born Aug. 6, 1874, in Henrietta, a daughter of David S. and Nancy (Frederick) Miller, and she married Jesse Crawford, who died May 4, 1921.

Surviving are ten children: Mrs. Mary C. Miller, Mrs. Edna N. Shaw, Mrs. Nellie M. Halloran, Mrs. Edith Ferguson, Mrs. Aletta Hartman, and Fred A., all of Altoona, Mrs. Florence Sharpless of Sand Ridge, Mrs. Elma Righnour of Rock Creek, Ohio, and David and Raymond of Duncansville.

One son, Jesse Crawford, was killed during the Korean conflict and one daughter, Mrs. Minnie Dodson is deceased.

There are 41 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are two sisters and one brother, Mrs. Nannie Zeigler and David A. Miller of Altoona and Mrs. Ella Benson of Columbus, Ohio.

Mrs. Crawford was the oldest member of the Carson Valley Church of the Brethren.

Friends will be received at the Mauk and Yates Funeral Home after noon Tuesday until 11 a.m. wednesday, thereafter at the church.

Services will be held at the Carson Valley church of the Brethren at 2 p.m. Wednesday by the Rev. C. Russell Snyder. Interment in the Carson Valley Cemetery.
