DALLAS - Roscoe Douglas Cogswell, 59, Rt. 1. Box 564, died Wednesday at his home following a long illness.
He was a native of Harmony Nebraska. He lived in Salt Creek from 1939 until moving here in 1945. He was employed by Willamette Valley Lumber Co.
Cogswell was a member of the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church.
Surviving are his widow Alice, Dallas; two sons, Ernest. Coos Bay, and Daniel, Amity; a daughter, Mildred Friesen, Dallas; two brothers,
Leo, Crawfordsville, and Levi, Colville, Washington; three sisters, Elsie Thompson, Lakeside, Evaline Magill, Scotts Mills, and Nell Knittel, Salem, and eight grand-children.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Friesen-Wiens Mortuary.
Burial will be in Dallas Cemetery.
