Mr. Roberts had been a resident of Globe since early childhood. His father, Louis Roberts, Globe businessman passed away about 24 years ago and he had continued to reside with his mother, Mrs. Nellie Roberts. He had been a cripple since the age of 12 suffering from chronic arthritis and had never been engaged in any active employment. He made his way by means of crutches. Hoping to alleviate his trouble by the extraction of his teeth, he entered the Gila
County Hospital last Thursday morning, but expired suddenly before work was
started on his teeth. An inquest ordered by Clyde Shute, ex-officio coroner was
later cancelled by agreement of all concerned. In addition to his mother, he is survived
