Mt. PLEASANT - Mrs. Ina Barringer Seaford, 89, of 500 N. Main St. died at 12:30 a.m. today following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church by Rev. Earl Jernigan, pastor, and Rev. Claude Deal Jr. of Winston-Salem. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The body will be taken from Gordon-Peninger Funeral Home to the residence at 10 a.m. Tuesday and taken to the church at the funeral hour. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today. The family requests that memorials be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of the church cemetery fund.
Mrs. Seaford was born in Cabarrus County March 17, 1877, daughter of the late William Gibson Barringer and Mrs. Walker Barringer. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and active in civic and church affairs at Mt. Pleasant. Her husband, Samuel Turner Seaford, died in 1930.
