Robert Steven Victor Kosiewski, affectionately "Ski" or Bobby, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend passed away September 28, 2008. He was born April 15, 1940 in Honolulu, HI, the son of Victor J. Kosiewski and Viola Pielocik Kosiewski. Bobby retired from the U. S. Naval Reserve and Civil Service at NAS Jacksonville. He was dedicated in service to our country, a devout Catholic man who loved his church, and devoted family man. Surviving are his wife of 43 years Jeanette Kosiewski; his daughter Shawn Kosiewski Coleman; grandchildren Victoria Leigh, Kaitlyn Elizabeth, and Matthew Alexander Coleman; his former son in law Alva "Wes" Coleman, Jr.; his sister Jean Zbailey (Mike); brothers David Kosiewski (Jill), Doug Chichester (Ricki) and Gil Chichester (Dale); also his sisters in law Janice Hall (Billy), Marsha Harrell (Ronnie), and his brother in law George Webb (Kathy). A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Thursday, October 2, 2008 at St. Catherine's Catholic Church, 1649 Kingsley Ave., Orange Park with Fr. James R. Boddie, Jr. Celebrant. In honoring his wishes, inurnment will be held at Jacksonville National Cemetery on a later date. Family members will receive friends on Thursday morning at the church. In lieu of flowers, kindly remit donations in his memory to St. Catherine's Catholic Church c/o the address above.
