Charles E. Knight Dies in Prime of Life.
Rome - Dec. 4 – Charles E. Knight a well know Roman, died at 2 a. m. today at his home, 507 North James Street. He had been out of health for two years, but had been confined to bed but two weeks. He was born in Gouverneur, 44 years ago, October 11, coming to Rome with his parents the late Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Knight. When he was about two years old and lived here. Here he married Miss Bertha Parker who survives. Other survivors are one son, Parker Knight, one sister and two brothers. Mrs. Joseph Bowers and Walter and Edward Knight of this city. He was a member of the Zion Espicopal Church of the Cigarmaker's Union. He had been employed in the cigar factory of Fred G. Gorton. The funeral will be held at the house at 1:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon.
