DAVIS, James Elmo Age 87 of Waynesville passed away Tues. Sept. 30, 2008 at his residence. He served as Wayne Township Clerk for 16 years and retired from Lorraine Construction in 1983 after more than 20 years of service. He was preceded in death by one brother Alva. He is survived by his wife Geneva, married 66 years; four children Patricia (Randall) Cline, Ken (Kathleen) Davis, George (Teresa) Davis, and Rae Lynn (David) Garrett; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one brother Bill (Frances); two sisters Lennis and Mary Lee; and sister-in-law Shirley. Funeral services Noon Fri. Oct. 3 at the Waynesville United Methodist Church. Pastor Tammy Jo Reiser and Pastor Jing Chow officiating. Burial Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends 10 AM - Noon Fri. at the church. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville is serving the family.
