Rachel M. Morgret, 87, of 3059 Farrandsville Road, Farrandsville, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2008, at her home. She was born in Farrandsville on Dec. 11, 1920, a daughter of the late Burton and Blanche Taylor Morgret. Rachel was a Methodist by faith and attended People's Church of Farrandsville.A graduate of Lock Haven High School in 1941, she worked at Sylvania until the plant closed on June 9, 1961. She is survived by her caregivers, great nieces Debra Morgret and Brenda Brown of Farrandsville and Barbara Nihart, Pauline Simcox, Shirley Farrington and Rose Laubach. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Goldie Toner and Elvirta Childs, and six brothers, Raymond, George, Charles, Harry, Doyle and Frederick Morgret.Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, 2008 at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, 231 High St., Flemington. Pastor Sharon Nestlerode will officiate. Interment will be in Dunnstown Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services Saturday.

Memorial contributions may be made to the People's Church of Farrandsville.
