Tom was the son of William and Cora Mae (Blair) Dixon. He married Cornelia Alwina Heydlauff on 27 May 1908. He followed the example of his father, William, in raising potatoes & marketing them locally and he also raised wheat, oats, corn & garden vegetables. He married Cornelia Alwina Heydlauff on 27 May 1908 and they are the parents of 5 sons; Vincent Trude, Lacerne Blair, Gerald Alphonso, Forrest Willard and Garnet Ward Dixon.
