DECATUR — Duane Wayne "Ike" Allen, 96, of Decatur, IL died 2:50 P.M., Saturday, June 26, 2004 in his home.

Visitation will be 5 to 8 P.M., Wednesday, June 30, 2004 at Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M., Thursday, July 1, 2004 at Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home. Masonic Rites will be conducted by the Ionic Lodge #312 AF & AM at the beginning of the funeral service. Burial will be in East Frantz Cemetery, Cerro Gordo, IL.

Memorials may be made to Ionic Lodge #312 AF & AM.

Ike was born July 2, 1907 in Bement, IL the son of Isaac A. and Martha Ellen (Bobb) Allen. He married Ruth E. (Elizabeth) Morris on February 1, 1943 in St. Louis, MO. She preceded him in death in August 2003. Ike was employed in management of the Piggly-Wiggly and later for Eisner Grocery Stores. He later became a salesman for International Harvester Co., selling farm implements. He then became a Realtor, selling farmland in the central Illinois area. Ike was previously active in Decatur bowling activities, and was amember and Past Master of the Ionic Lodge #312 A.F. & A.M.

Surviving are his daughter, Myrna Quinlan of Decatur, IL, grandson, Tim Quinlan and wife Sherry of Bethany, IL, great-granddaughter, Amber Quinlan, great-grandson, Dalton Quinlan, great-niece Janet Beck and husband Jack and their daughter Jackie of Shelbyville, IL, brother, Harry Allen of Rosemead, CA, nephew, Larry Allen of Los Angeles, CA, sister-in-law, Barbara Morris and family of Peoria, IL, sister-in-law, Ruth P. Morris and her family of Tucson, Arizona.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, four brothers and two sisters.
