Mrs. Mary Frances Pierce, 88, a resident of Walworth County for over 60 years, died at the home of her daughter, Dorothy, in West Allis Wednesday.

She was born in Litchfield, IL, Sept. 5, 1858. She was educated in the schools of that section and at Cedar Falls, Iowa. She was married to George E. Pierce of Elkhorn at Cedar Falls, Iowa, on Sept. 25, 1883, and moved to a farm in the town of Sugar Creek in 1890. In 1909 they moved to Elkhorn and lived there until Mr. Pierce died.

She is survived by four sons, Earl of Elkhorn, John and Henry of San Bernadino, Calif., and Adolph of West Allis; two daughters, Dorothy of West Allis and Mrs. Anna Halverson of Aberdeen, Wash.

Funeral services will be held a the Reed Funeral Home in Elkhorn on Saturday afternoon at 2 o`clock. Burial will be in Millard Cemetery. Rev. Walter Holliday will officiate.
