She was born on March 24, 1917, in Victor, Emery County, Utah to Elizabeth Annie White and Taliesin Evans.
She was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Ladder-day Saints (LDS), and loved genealogy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leland E. Hornbeck whom she married on May 28, 1941. They were the parents of Carolyn, who died shortly after birth.
She is survived by her children, Marilyn Sue Mills, Sharon Lee Campbell and her husband Fredric, Thomas Leland Hornback and his wife Mari, and Barbara Jane Hornback; nine grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held at Fresno Memorial Gardens.
