She had been a resident at the Brookville care center for seven years.
Born Jan. 3, 1905, she was a daughter of the late Edwin and Hattie Elder Newhouse.
She married Percy E. Wells in 1927. He preceded her in death in 1983.
Mrs. Wells was a school teacher.
She was a member of the White Chapel Church in Porter Township.
Mrs. Wells is survived by two sons, Paul K. Wells of Chapel Hill, N.C. and Dwight C. Wells of Troy, Ohio; two daughters, Mrs. John (Shirley) Grinder of New Bethlehem and Mrs. Glenn (Caroll) Reitz of Fort Wayne, Ind.; one sister, Mrs. Edith Olson of Irvine; and one brother, Berton Newhouse of Strattanville RD1.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Donald R. Well.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Mateer Funeral Home in New Bethlehem.
Funeral services will be held Monday at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Squirrel Hill Cemetery in Porter Township.
