In Loving Memory- Dorothy Margaret Shanafelt Lawrence 05/24/1919 - 8/14/2008 Dorothy Margaret Shanafelt Lawrence, age 89 formerly of Clarion went home to be with the Lord on 8/14/08 at the Clarion Hospital. Born in Clarion on 5/24/19, father-George B. Cyphert, mother-Clara Belle Hartzell Cyphert, both preceded her in death. She was married to Darl Arden Shanafelt who preceded her in death in 1990 and she later married Melvin Clair Lawrence who also preceded her in death in 1995. Mrs. Lawrence was a Dietitian and worked at George Jr, as well as a homemaker. She attended the Church of God in Clarion. Survivors, 2-daughters, Bonnie and her husband Ray Dunkle of Clarion, Linda and her husband Phil Lucas of Harmony, PA, 3-grandchildren, Douglas Dunkle, Sandy Gatesman and Marcy Stehney, 2-great grandchildren, Mitchell Gatesman and Ari Stehney. She was also survived by her step children, LaDonna and her husband Gerald Minich, Ben and his wife Mary Waldorf both of Summerville and several step grand and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, 2-brothers, Ross and Dick Cyphert and a baby sister. Visitation will be held on Friday, 2-4, 7-9 from the Goble Funeral Home & Crematory, 330 Wood St, Clarion, where funeral services will be held on Sat. at 11:00 AM from the funeral home with Rev.
