Isabella is the daughter of Henry & Mary (Long) Perkey. She married Teter Blair on 13 Apr 1854. Teter and Isabella Blair had a farm near Leslie, Michigan. Upon the death of Isabella, Teter was grief stricken and left his children Cora and Henry with his wife's relatives in Charlotte, Michigan, and went by boat to California during the gold rush. He later returned and bought a farm near Rives Junction, in Tompkins Township, Jackson County, Michigan and remarried. Isabella and Teter were parents to 4 children.
