Covington, Ga. - Billy G. Whitt, Jr., 23, of Covington, formerly of Huntsville, Ala., died Monday in Georgia. A memorial service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. t the Willowbrook Baptist Church in Huntsville with the Rev. Randall Stoner officiating.
A graveside service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Gatlin Cemetery in Ardmore with Rainey funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Cheryl Whitt; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Billy Whitt Sr., of Huntsville, a sister, Mrs. Cindy W. Gullatt of Huntsville; a brother, Michael Whitt of Huntsville; and his grandparents, Mrs. Odell Whitt and Grady McPherson, both of Huntsville. [Paper dated 12 Mar 1985]
