Hattie Pauline "Polly" Stough Adams, 90, of El Dorado died Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at Parks Edge Nursing Center in Tulsa, OK.
She was born January 24, 1918 in Bradley County, AR to Shelby Franklin Stough and Laura Inez Erwin Stough. Polly was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church since 1951 and a charter member of the Pink Ladies.
Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband Rufus E. Adams; sisters, Gladys Stough Sharp, Ozell Stough Larned and Alma Johnson; brothers, Otis Clyde Stough and Carroll Stough.
Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Kaye Adams Bowen and husband Dale of Tulsa, OK; a brother, Marcus Stough of Beaumont, TX; two grandchildren, Jeffery Allen Bowen and wife Angie of Owasso, OK, Mark Adam Bowen of Tulsa, OK and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 10:00AM Tuesday, September 23, 2008 in Young's Chapel with Bro. Gary Glasgow officiating. Burial will follow at Williams Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
