Mrs. Emily Sue Whitt, 82, of Route 2 Box 320, Toney, died Monday, August 7, 1989, in the Athens Limestone Hospital, Athens, Alabama.
Funeral services will be held August 9 at 2 p.m. in the Taylor Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dennis Bain officiating. Burial will be in the Gatlin Cemetery in Ardmore, AL with Taylor Funeral Home in charge.
A native of Tennessee, Mrs. Whitt was the daughter of the late John Phillips and Mary Faulkner Phillips. She was a homemaker and a member of the Wooley springs Baptist Church and the Wooley Springs Home Demonstration Club.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Whitt of Toney, AL; and several nieces and nephews.
