He was preceded in death by his parents; and an infant daughter.In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Terry and wife Michelle of Culloden; brothers, Bob and wife Dot of Leon, Jim and wife Jean of Dunbar, and Gary and wife Linda of Boulder City, Nev.; grandchildren, Brett Whitney of Sissonville, Michael Moles of Barboursville, and Kelly and Emily Moles of Culloden; great-granddaughter, Marisa Whitney of Sissonville; sister-in-law, Elsie Sexton of Columbus, Ohio; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Bill was a member of North Charleston Baptist Church, where he taught the Sanctuary Sunday school class, sang in the choir, and served as a deacon. He retired from BF Goodrich and Nova Corporation. He loved his family, his church, and the Lord. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Skaggs, Dr. Sakkal, and Hospice Care of Dunbar. A special thank you to Amanda, Aniya, Sue Ann, Tanya, Jenny, Bobbie, and Alisha for your kindness during our time of need.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 7, in the chapel of Tyler Mountain Funeral Home and Memory Gardens, 5233 Rocky Fork Rd., Cross Lanes, with Bernard Toppins officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.Friends may visit prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Care, 1143 Dunbar Ave., Dunbar WV 25064 or North Charleston Baptist Church, 1009 Woodward Dr., Charleston, WV 25312.
