MRS. ALICE A BURNETT
ASHFORD – Mrs. Alice A Burnett, 94, of Ashford died early yesterday in a Dothan Nursing Home after a long illness.
Funeral services at 4 pm today in Union Springs Free Will Baptist Church near Pansey were to be conducted by the Rev. Coy Watson. Burial in the church cemetery was to be directed by Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home. The body was to in the church one hour prior to services.
A Georgia native, Mrs. Burnett moved to Houston County in 1914. She was a Methodist.
Survivors include three sons, Earl Burnett, Pansey; Sanders Burnett, Chipley; and Emory Burnett; Fredricksburg, VA; three daughters, Mrs. Edna A Doswell, Ashford; Mrs. Eva Williams, Columbia; and Mrs. Beatrice Marsh, Hartford Rt. 2; 17 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
