Kenneth E. "Ken" Heron, 70, died Nov. 22, 2003.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Simes Mortuaries Casa Grande Chapel. The funeral there will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

Mr. Heron was born March 26, 1933 in Evansville, Wisconsin, to Glen and Fern (Berry) Heron. He spent most of his working years in Wisconsin, as a car salesman for 20 years, and then owning and working small farms.

He lived in Arizona for more than 22 years. He was a skilled mechanic and made a hobby of buying old cars, fixing them up and reselling them. He also enjoyed working and remodeling around the house.

Survivors include his wife of nearly 34 years, Connie; a daughter, Pam Cougar, of Milton, WI; three sons: Brett Heron, of Scottsdale, Sean Heron, of Clovis, NM, and Greg Heron, of Nanaimo, BC, Canada; three sisters: Jane Smith, of Isabella, CA, Betty Hayden, of Janesville, WI, and Mary Wendt, of McFarland, WI; two brothers: Robert Heron, of Spring Green, WI, and Tom Heron, of Roundup, MT; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by a son, Randall Heron; two sisters: Iris Hayden and Doris Lund; and a brother, Jack Heron.
