Walter Burrell Leatherwood, 73, of Timpson, Texas, died Thursday, August 8, 1996 at his residence.
He was born April 23, 1923 in Utah to William Leatherwood and Blanch (Higginbotham) Leatherwood.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, August 11, at the Mangum Chapel in Center, Texas, with Dr. Wesley Welborn officiating. Graveside services and burial will be at Memorial Estates Mountian View in Salt Lake City, Utah on Tuesday, August 13, 2 p.m. Funeral arrangements were handled by the Mangum Funeral Home in Center.
He is survived by Ohleen Leatherwood (spouse), of Timpson, Texas; Walter Daniel Leatherwood (son), of Salt Lake City, Utah, four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; Harold Leatherwood (brother) of Midvale, Utah; Edith Rissius (sister) of Seattle Washington.
